WOR's BBQ at the Park
05.18.2016Come enjoy Smokey Bones BBQ, potluck dishes, apps and desserts; drinks (alcohol is permitted); sports activities and games and best of all, hanging out with your racing friends from the WOR SCCA. It will be held Saturday, June 25th from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at Taylorsville MetroPark's Deer Trace Shelter. There is a volleyball net, a set of corn hole boards, sports equipment, easily accessible parking and bathrooms and nearby are nature trails, so bring your family. Giant Lawn Yahtzee, Giant Jenga and corn hole bags will also be available that day.
Open to WOR SCCA members and SCCA weekend members.
Pre-registration is required and can be found at msreg.com/WORBBQatthePark. Registration opens May 19, 2016 at 12:01am and closes June 21, 2016 at 11:59pm. Price is $15 for SCCA members and $18 for non-SCCA members. Pay via credit card at registration, mail in a check or bring payment to the event (see payment details at very bottom). Be sure to select your main entrée choice! You are allowed one (1) additional adult guest, plus children. The shelter has a maximum occupancy limit. Just be sure to include them when you register, as well as their food choices.
• Entrée choices: Pulled Pork BBQ on bun or quarter of a Roasted BBQ Chicken
• Meal includes: baked beans, coleslaw and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages (soda, water, lemonade and iced tea)
• Please Bring: A side dish, dessert (Sm'ores anyone?or appetizer if possible
• Alcoholic beverages (cans only) are welcome.
• Camp chairs are encouraged, and
• Any yard games you would like to share are also welcome.
